Since early in his career, Daniel has been involved in the LGBTQI Community, working as a volunteer for the amfAR Foundation in Madrid and Paris, and collaborating with Queer Magazines like Zero and Orientaciones in Spain. His drawings have appeared in numerous books and publications alongside Tom of Finland and David Hockney, and writers like José Saramago, Rafael Alberti, and Leopoldo Alas, with whom he edited the Magazine SIGNOS.
As a visual artist, Daniel works with galleries around the globe and has exhibited at Art Fairs like ART Basel or ARCO Madrid. He was selected to participate in PHotoESPAÑA in 2018/20/21 and designed Bakunin’s gravestone in Bern, on behalf of the Dadaists of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich. He is represented in well-known collections and museums, such as the Geneva Museum, the National Library Madrid, the Concorcio Toledo, the Madrid Metro Collection, and the Kunstsammlung des Bundes, Switzerland, among others
