Artist Statement:
Alexandre, a Lisbon-based painter, has a degree in painting and the visual arts and has had exhibitions in Lisbon, London, Berlin, and Prague, among others, and is represented in private collections on all continents.
He combines the narrative painting of Dada and Pop with the color lexicon of Gauguin, Matisse, and Warhol. Queer themes are an integral part of his work and serve as a narrative element for the whole
